[2] This present writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking the following reliefs: “.i Issue RULE, calling upon the respondents and each one of them, to show cause as to why a Writ of Certiorari and/or in the nature thereof, shall not be issued, for calling for the records, lying with the respondents, for rendering substantial and conscionable justice to the petitioner; ii. Issue RULE, calling upon the respondents and each one of them, to show cause as to why a Writ of Mandamus and/or in the nature thereof, shall not be issued, for mandating/directing the respondents to return back the original copy of Pension Payment Order (for short, PPO) of deceased Hasi Rani Deb in favour of the petitioner within a time frame by this Hon'ble High Court; iii. Call for the records, appertaining to this petition; iv. After hearing the parties, be pleased to make the RULE absolute, in terms of i. & ii. above; v. Any other RELIEF(s) as to this Hon'ble High Court may deem fit and proper.” [3] After perusal of the record, this Court grants liberty to the Petitioner to approach respondent No.3 seeking for either certified copy of duplicate as per procedure in view of the lost certificate issued by the Punjab National Bank saying that the original pension payment orders are misplaced and are lost in the bank. [4] It is unfortunate to observe the state of affairs in which the bank has expressed and issued lost certificate, the same is never expected. Since, the bank is in helpless situation and the pension of the petitioner is at stay, in view of the same, without expressing any opinion on merits of the case, this present writ petition is disposed of directing the respondent No.3 to do the needful as expeditiously as possible within a period of three months from the date of receipt of the copy of this order in accordance with law. [5] Registry is directed to mark a copy of this order to respondent No.3 and Punjab National Bank, Agartala Circle, office at Hari Ganga Basak Road, P.O.- Agartala-799001, P.S.-West Agartala, District-West Tripura, [6] With the above direction, this present writ petition stands disposed of.
