The petitioner is seeking regular bail in connection with R.C.03(A)/2025-R, for the offence registered under section 7 of Prevention of Corruption (Amendment) Act, 2018, pending in the court of learned Special Judge, CBI, Ranchi. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody since 11.5.2025 and the allegations are made of demanding money, however, the money in question has been recovered from other person namely, Lokesh Kumar and the charge sheet has already been submitted. 4. Learned counsel for the respondent CBI has opposed the prayer and submits that initially the amount was received by the petitioner and subsequently the same was transferred to another person. 5. Considering that the petitioner is in custody since 11.5.2025 and the charge sheet has already been submitted, I am inclined to grant regular bail to the petitioner. 6. Accordingly, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail, on furnishing bail bond of Rs.25,000/- (Twenty Five Thousand), with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of the learned Special Judge, CBI, Ranchi in connection with R.C.03(A)/2025-R. 7.
