Ahmed, learned counsel for the applicant/appellant. Also heard Mr. B. Sarma, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the State. This application has been filed under Section 482 of BNSS 2023 praying for granting pre-arrest bail to the accused applicant namely, Saddam Dewan. On perusal of the application, it is seen that no mention of any FIR has been made in the Page No.# 2/2 application. However, certain statements regarding visit of police to his residence on 10.09.2025 has been mentioned. There is no statement as to how is he actually apprehending arrest. It is also not found why actually he is apprehending his arrest as there is no specific statement in that regard. This Court has also requested the learned Additional Public Prosecutor to verify as to whether any FIR has been filed in Salbari Police Station regarding the petitioner or the accused applicant is any way connected with any of the FIR filed in the Salbari Police Station. A report has been submitted by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor which reveals that no case has been filed against the accused applicant. In view of the aforesaid and on perusal of the contents of the application, this Court does not find any ground for filing the instant pre-arrest bail application and therefore, the instant pre-arrest bail application is dismissed.
