The writ petition is filed by the petitioner praying for the following reliefs:- "I. Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of certiorari to quash the impugned cancelling the petitioner's appointment order dated 08-07-2024 passed by the respondent no.4 from service of home Guards (Annexure No.7 to this Writ Petition). II. Issue a writ order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding to respondent no.3 to conclude and decide the representation application dated 29-.07-2024 with reason and speaking order within stipulated period." Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the appointment of the petitioner has been cancelled by order dated 8.7.2024 passed by respondent no.4 against which, the petitioner has preferred a representation dated 29.7.2024 before respondent no.3, which is pending consideration. Learned counsel for the petitioner further submits that ends of justice would be served if the representation of the petitioner is decided within a stipulated period. Learned Standing Counsel submits that the respondent no.3 will decide the petitioner's representation dated 29.7.2024 in a time bound manner. In view of the aforesaid, the writ petition is disposed of directing the respondent no.3 to consider and decide the petitioner's representation dated 29.7.2024 as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of two months from the date of production of a certified copy of this order.
