1. By way of this petition, the petitioner has sought the following relief(s):-
“10.1 To call for the records of the case for the kind perusal of this Hon’ble Court. 10.2 The Hon’ble Court may kindly be pleased to set aside/quash the order passed by the respondent No. 5. 10.3 To issue an appropriate writ or order and direct the SIDDHANT TAMRAKAR Digitally signed by SIDDHANT TAMRAKAR Date: 2025.08.14 18:22:47 +0530
2 respondent authorities to consider the representations as well as inclusion of academic records i.e. AMIE and MBA in updation of service records. 10.4 Any other relief deemed fit in the facts and circumstances of the case may also be granted.”

Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is working on the post of Senior Manager (Mining) in the Balgi Project under the respondents. He would further submit that during the course of employment, the petitioner pursued the degree of AMIE and MBA with the Institute of Engineers, Kolkata, and IGNOU, respectively. He would also submit that the petitioner moved representations before the respondent authorities to include the subsequent degrees in his service record, but till date, the representations have not been decided by the respondent authorities.
3. On the other hand, learned Advocates for respondents would oppose. They would submit that the petitioner acquired those qualifications without obtaining due permission from the department; therefore, the request made by the petitioner was not accepted.

5. Considering the dispute involved in the present case, the respondent authorities are directed to decide the pending representations moved by the petitioner for inclusion of his subsequent degree of AMIE and MBA in the service record strictly in accordance with the law.
6. With the aforesaid observation(s) and direction(s), the instant petition is hereby disposed of. Sd/-
