The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in connection with Manjhiaon P.S. Case No.91 of 2024, for the alleged offences registered under Sections 317(5) and 3(5) of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023, Section 12(1)(2)(3) of Jharkhand Bovine Animal Prohibition of Slaughter Act and Section 11 of Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act, pending in the Court of learned ACJM, Garhwa. 3. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the name of the petitioner has surfaced on the confessional statement of apprehended co-accused. He submits that the petitioner is neither the driver nor the owner of the vehicle in question and the allegations are made that bovine animals were 2025:JHHC:23932 --2-- A.B.A. No. 4464 of 2025 being carried in the said pickup van. He submits that the petitioner has got no criminal antecedent as disclosed in paragraph No.12 of the petition. 4. Learned counsel appearing for the State opposes the prayer and submits that the name of the petitioner has come on the confessional statement of apprehended co-accused and it is alleged that he has fled away from the place of occurrence. 5. Considering that the petitioner is neither the driver nor the owner of the vehicle in question and the name of the petitioner has come on the confessional statement of apprehended co-accused and the petitioner has got no criminal antecedent as disclosed in paragraph No.12 of the petition, I am inclined to provide anticipatory bail to the petitioner. 6. Accordingly, the petitioner, above named, is hereby directed to surrender before the learned Court within three weeks from today, and in the event of his surrender/arrest, the petitioner, above named, shall be released on bail, on furnishing bail bond of Rs.25,000/- (Rupees Twenty Five Thousand), with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned ACJM, Garhwa in connection with Manjhiaon P.S. Case No.91 of 2024, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 482(2) of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023. (Sanjay Kumar Dwivedi, J.) Sangam/
