The petitioner has preferred the present petition with the prayer to direct the respondent No.2/Secretary, U.P. Basic Education Board Prayagraj to take a decision on the letter dated 01.04.2024 sent by the respondent No.3/District Basic Education Officer, Aligarh for appointment of the petitioner on suitable post on compassionate ground under dying in harness rules. 2. Pursuant to the order passed by this Court, Sri Hari Narayan Singh, learned counsel for the respondents placed a decision dated 19.02.2025 taken by the respondent No.2 by which a direction was given to the District Inspector of Schools, Aligarh/respondent No.3 to initiate proceedings for appointment of the petitioner on compassionate ground, the same is taken on record and a copy of the decision dated 19.02.2025 has also been provided to the learned counsel for the petitioner. 3. Heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the record. 4. In the facts and circumstances of the case, the present petition is disposed of directing the respondent No.3/ District Inspector of Schools, Aligarh to do needful in the matter pursuant to the letter/decision dated 19.02.2025 written by respondent No.2/Secretary, U.P. Basic Education Board Prayagraj most expeditiously and preferably within a period of three weeks from the date of production of certified copy of this order.
