Present civil revision petition has been filed under Article 227 of the Constitution of India for setting aside the order dated 14.11.2024 (Annexure P-5) passed by the Appellate Authority. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioners has pointed out that in the present case, the respondent/tenant has left the premises. It is submitted that in the said circumstance, the present revision petition be disposed of as having been rendered infructuous but liberty be granted to the petitioners to recover the amount of mesne profit in accordance with law. It is further submitted that the amount of mesne profit assessed by the Appellate Court be not taken as a precedent as it is the case of the landlords that a higher amount should have been assessed as mesne profits. The order assessing mesne profit as Rs.35,000/- per month would not be treated as a precedent since the present revision petition filed by the landlords-petitioners for enhancement has not been adjudicated on merits.
