Crl.O.P.No.33560 of 2025 nascent stage of investigation, the petitioners approached this Court in Crl.O.P.No.27816 of 2025 seeking anticipatory bail and the same was dismissed by this Court vide order dated 22.10.2025. He reiterated that the investigation is at still at a preliminary stage and the case requires thorough investigation and therefore, this Court cannot interdict the same under Section 482 Cr.P.C. Hence, he objected for quashing the case against the petitioners.
5. Having heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and upon perusal of the materials available on record and taking note of the fact that this Court had earlier dismissed the anticipatory bail application, observing that the petitioners had approached the victims, gained their trust and cheated them by collecting a huge amount and further considering that the investigation is at a preliminary stage, this Court does not find any merit in this petition to quash the First Information Report.
6. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is also closed. 12.12.2025 ham Neutral Citation: Yes/No 3/5 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis
