The petitioner has been made accused in connection with S.T. Case No. 106/2024 arising out of Pakur (Town) P.S. Case No. 120/2011, for the offences registered under Section 306 of the I.P.C. subsequently charge-sheet has been submitted under Sections 302, 201, 120B & 34 of the I.P.C. pending in the Court of learned Addl. Sessions Judge-I, Pakur. 3. On 17.05.2011, niece of the informant namely Swati Singh was found murdered in her house. Petitioner happens to be step maternal uncle of the deceased. 4. It was submitted that name of the petitioner has come only on the basis of confession. It was further submitted that petitioner did not reside in the house of the deceased. 5. Learned A.P.P. has opposed the prayer for bail of the petitioner and has submitted that prior to the occurrence, deceased had told several witnesses that petitioner had come to her house and had assaulted her. 6. In view of the aforesaid facts, I am not inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, his prayer for bail stands rejected. (Ambuj Nath, J.) Rahul/-
