Biswas, learned senior counsel for the petitioners. Also heard Mr. P. Borthakur, learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State. 2. This application has been filed under section 483 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraskha Sanhita, 2023, whereby the accused petitioners namely, 1. Mujibur Rahman Laskar, 2. Amrul Laskar and 3. Swapan Das, has prayed for bail in connection with Silchar P.S Case No. 842/2025, registered under Section 7 of Essential Commodities Act, 1955, R/W Sections 111(3) /111(4) /111(5) /111(6) /111(7)/112(2) /303(2)/317(4)/318(3)/318(4) of BNS, 2023. 3. The accused persons are stated to have been arrested on 20.08.2025 and presently in judicial custody. 4. The learned senior counsel for the petitioners submits that while Section 7 of Essential Commodities Act, 1955 is bailable but the provisions of BNS given pertaining to organized crime may not be applicable. He submitted that in any case, they shall face trial and seeks bail at this stage. 5. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State submits that investigation has revealed implicating materials and involvement of a racket of these illegal activities. 6. Considering the length of detention and progress of the investigation, the above-named accused persons are allowed to go on bail of Rs.30,000/- (Rupees Thirty Thousand) only each with one surety each of like amount subject to the satisfaction of the concerned learned court with following conditions: (i) That they shall co-operate with the remaining investigation ; (ii) That they shall not involve in any illegal activities and offence ; (iii) That they shall not hamper or tamper with evidence. 8.
