Learned counsel for the petitioner filed an affidavit dated 21.02.2026 enumerating the following factual developments that happened during the pendency of the present writ petition: “That, though, this Hon’ble Court vide its order dated 30.05.2025 had directed the Authority not to take any further action on the Final Vacancy List dtd.23.05.2025 for placement of Post PG Doctors-2021 Admission Batch of In-Service Candidates, however, during pendency of this writ petition, the Opposite Parties took decision to conduct counselling of 2022 Batch-Post PG Doctors by issuing Notification dated 06.01.2026. Challenging the aforesaid action of the Authority, the Petitioner again approached this Hon’ble Court by filing W.P.(C) No. 948 of 2026. This Hon’ble Court being satisfied with the difficulty of the Petitioner vide order dated 13.01.2026 allowed him to do their choice locking without prejudice to the rights and contentions raised in the writ petition. In pursuance to the aforesaid direction of this Hon’ble Court, the Authority allowed the Petitioner to exercise his option as per his choice on 16.01.2026. In the meantime, this Hon’ble Court vide order dated 19.02.2026 has disposed of the writ petition bearing WP.(C) No. 948 of 2026 giving liberty to the Petitioner to raise all other grievance before the Authority by filing appropriate application and the concerned Authority is directed to consider such application of the Petitioner. In this changing situation, since, the Petitioner has been permitted to exercise his option and this Hon’ble Court by disposing of the writ petition referred to above has granted the liberty to the Petitioner to raise all other grievances before the Opposite Parties, the Petitioner do not want to proceed with this writ petition and accordingly he may be permitted to withdraw the writ petition. 3. It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner has been allowed to participate in the counselling and has been allotted seat to Post PG-2022 Admission Batch. Hence, the learned counsel sought for disposal of the writ petition with liberty to approach the Court in the event any cause of action survives in the subject-matter of challenge involved in the present case. 4. The leave sought for by the petitioner for withdrawal of the writ petition is granted. In view of the above subsequent events and the grievance of the petitioner being redressed, the writ petition is disposed of as withdrawn with the liberty to the petitioner to approach the appropriate forum for ventilating his grievance, if any cause of action survives. 5. With the disposal of writ petition, all the interim orders passed in the case, if any, stand vacated and all the pending Interlocutory Application(s) stands disposed of. (M.S.
