This Court, in Writ Petition No.7950 of 2025 on 25.03.2025 and also in 4. Writ Petition No.2818 of 2025 on 03.02.2025. passed orders separately directing the Police therein to give necessary protection to the petitioners therein for smooth conducting of the election process. Learned Government Pleader for Home appearing for the respondents 5. submits that they have not yet received any representation seeking Police protection. Therefore, the petitioners herein are permitted to make a representation to the respondent No.2-Superintendent of Police, Kadapa District, and on receipt of such representation, the respondent No.2-Superintende nt of Police, Kadapa District, is directed to give Police protection to the petitioners and the members of the Goparavaram Gram Panchayat for participating in the elections to the post of Upa-sarpanch, Gopavaram Gram Panchayat, The petitioners and other members are directed to comply with the necessary requirements as guided by the 2"^ respondent. 6. Proddatur Mandal to be held on 19.05.2025. 3 With the above observation, the Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
