Petitioner is presently serving as DPE at GSSS Habban, Tehsil Rajgarh, District Sirmour. His case is that he is going to retire on attaining the age of superannuation on 30.06.2027, and thus only a few years are left before his retirement. The petitioner was promoted as DPE on 20.10.2023 and was posted at GSSS Habban, which is a difficult/hard area. Previously also, he had served for more than the normal tenure in a difficult/hard area at GSSS Madwach, District Sirmour. In view of these facts, he -2- submitted a representation dated 23.06.2025 (Annexure P-1) to respondent No.2/Competent Authority seeking his transfer to a station of his choice. However, the said representation has not been decided till date. 3. Looking to the nature of the grievance raised in this writ petition, it would in the interest of justice to direct Competent Authority to consider and decide the aforesaid representation dated 23.06.2025 (Annexure P-1) of the petitioner in accordance with law and as per applicable policy within a period of three weeks from today. Ordered accordingly. The order so passed be also communicated to the petitioner. The writ petition stands disposed of in the above terms.
