This writ petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India has been filed to issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of Mandamus commanding/directing the opposite parties to take decision on the application dated 16.12.2024 preferred by the petitioner before the District Level Committee, Ayodhya, District Ayodhya, for providing the police protection to the petitioner. 3. Counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that his application dated 16.12.2024 pending before the District Level Committee may be directed to be decided. 4. In light of the above, respondent No.5-District Level Committee is directed to decide the aforesaid application filed by the petitioner within a period of eight weeks from date in accordance with law by way of passing a reasoned order, after granting an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner. 5.
