Petitioner has been made accused in connection with Gumla P.S. Case No. 104 of 2024, for the offences registered under Section 392 of the I.P.C., pending in the Court of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Gumla. On 23.03.2024, the informant was waylaid by four unknown persons near Tari Toli more. The accused persons looted Rs.10,000/- and his mobile phone. It was submitted that though the petitioner was identified in the T.I. Parade by the informant, but in his deposition during trial, he has given complete go-bye to the prosecution case. It was further submitted that petitioner is in custody for about 11 months. Learned A.P.P. has opposed the prayer for bail but does not dispute the aforesaid facts. In view of the submissions made above, I am inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees twenty thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Gumla, in connection with Gumla P.S.
