Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned A.G.A. for the State. 2. The present petition has been filed seeking a direction to respondent no. 2 – Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Tehsil Machhalishahar, District Jaunpur – to decide the petitioner's application dated 21.11.2024, which was sent via registered post on 22.11.2024 and is stated to be pending before the said authority, within a stipulated period. 3. It appears that the application under Section 123 Cr.P.C. has only recently been submitted and no material has been placed on record to demonstrate that any effort has been made by the petitioner to pursue the matter in person or that any inaction on part of the respondent has occurred. In such circumstances, the present petition is found to be premature. 4. Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed as premature, with liberty to the petitioner to approach the appropriate authority afresh, if his grievances are not redressed despite taking necessary steps, including personally approaching the office of the Sub- Divisional Magistrate concerned.
