Upadhyaya, learned counsel for the petitioner as well as learned Standing counsel for the respondents. 1. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner was working on the post of Deputy Director, Agriculture, Ghazipur in 2023 when certain disciplinary proceedings were initiated against him. He submits that the proceedings concluded by passing the order of punishment dated 7.6.2024 by which censure entry was granted to the petitioner. He submits that against the punishment order passed by the State Government the petitioner could not file appeal and only representation was preferred by him as per Rule 15 of U.P. Government Servants (Discipline and Appeal) Rules, 1999. The said representation is pending before opposite party No1 since 21.11.2024 and, therefore, he confines his prayer for a suitable direction to opposite party No.1 to consider and decide the said representation expeditiously. 2. Learned State counsel does not object to the innocuous prayer made by the petitioner. 3. Accordingly, the petition is disposed of with direction to opposite party No.1 to consider and decide the said representation of the 4.
