When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondents would submit that the petitioner had sought temporary licence for Cracker’s shop during Diwali festival. But, there were objections from other shop owners. Further, the respondents taking into consideration the safety aspects, rejected the same. He would further submit that since the licence is temporary in nature, as on date, this Writ Petition has become infructuous. 3. It is seen that now, the prayer has become infructuous.
