Learned Senior Counsel for the petitioner after arguing the matter for some time submits that petitioner is in custody in the present case from 23.03.2023 onwards and he is a person without any criminal antecedents. He - 3 - NC: 2025:KHC:15894 CRL.P No. 3162 of 2025 submits that statement under Section 313 of Cr.PC, of the accused has already been recorded and the case is now listed before the trial Court for the purpose of hearing final arguments. He submits that if the trial Court is directed to dispose of the case expeditiously on merits, the same would serve the ends of justice. 3. Per contra, learned Counsel appearing for the defacto-complainant and learned HCGP submit that they have no objections for granting the prayer now made on behalf of the petitioner and they also submit that they will cooperate before the trial Court for expeditious disposal of the case. 4. Submissions made on both side is placed on record. 5. Considering the stage of the case and also the period of incarceration of the petitioner, the petition is disposed of with a direction to the trial Court to dispose of Spl.C.(POCSO)No.62/2023 within a period of two months - 4 - NC: 2025:KHC:15894 CRL.P No. 3162 of 2025 from date of receipt of copy of this order, without seeking any further extension of time.
