Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned A.G.A. for the State. 2. This petition has been filed with the following prayers :- (i) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus, thereby commanding the opposite parties to immediately conclude the inquiry in the matter which is being conducted by the opposite party no. 4 i.e. Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police(South), Lucknow and to submit its report immediately. (ii) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus, thereby commanding the concerned opposite parties/police concerned to take an immediate step against the responsible persons for making harassment of the petitioner and his family members. 3. Learned A.G.A. on the basis of instructions submits that the inquiry has already been concluded and the preliminary inquiry report dated 24.10.2024 has been forwarded to the count concerned, therefore, prayer made in this petition is misconceived. The instructions are taken on record. 4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner was not communicated the preliminary inquiry report and it was informed by the Versus Counsel for Petitioner(s) : Rajendra Prasad Shukla, Pallavi Dubey Counsel for Respondent(s) : G.A. Ram Das Prjapati @ Prajapati .....Petitioner(s) State Of U.P. Thru. Prin. Secy. Home Deptt. Govt. Of U.P. Lko. And 3 Others .....Respondent(s) authorities concerned that the inquiry is still pending, however, in view of the instructions, he submits that the petition may be dismissed as not pressed. 5.
