Sharma, learned CGSC for respondent Nos. 1, 2 & 4 and Mr. Samarjit H., learned Government Advocate assisted by Mr. A. Bheigya Meitei, learned junior Government counsel for respondent Nos. 3 & 5. [2] By the present writ petition, the petitioner approached this Court for extending the timeline laid down by the letter dated 11-07-2025 issued by the Joint Secretary to the Government of India, Ministry of Rural Development, New Delhi to all the States for completion of projects under PMGSY within a stipulated timeline. In this respect, the petitioner has already submitted a representation dated 01-09-2025 to the Commissioner/ Secretary to the Government of India, Ministry of Rural Development, Department of Rural Development (Rural Connectivity Division), New Delhi WP(C) No. 716 of 2025 & MC(WP(C)) No. 669 of 2025 for extension of time till up to 31-03-2026. It is submitted that the representation is still pending and the writ petition can be disposed of by directing respondent No. 1 to consider and pass an appropriate order to the pending representation dated 01-09-2025 submitted by the petitioner. [3] Mr. B.R. Sharma, learned CGSC for respondent Nos. 1, 2 & 4 and Mr. Samarjit H., learned Government Advocate for the State respondents, have no objection in passing an innocuous order for disposal of the writ petition. [4] Recording the submissions made at the Bar, the writ petition is disposed of by directing respondent No. 1 to consider and pass a speaking order to the representation dated 01-09-2025 submitted by the petitioner within a period of 2 months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. [5] Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of. [6] MC(WP(C)) No. 668 of 2025 is also closed. [7] Furnish a copy of this order to Mr. B.R. Sharma, learned CGSC, for forwarding to respondent Nos. 1, 2 & 4 for information and necessary compliance.
