The petitioner is an accused in this case. An FIR was lodged against him under Sections 341, 323, 354 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code on 29.01.2022. A charge sheet was submitted on 28.02.2022. Charges were framed on 09.02.2023. Yet, the proceeding has not been concluded yet. Long dates are being fixed. It does not appear that any inordinate delay has been caused in the instant proceeding. However, it is expected that the trial Court would conclude the proceeding in accordance with law and at the earliest by fixing shorter dates and without granting any unnecessary adjournment to any of the parties. With these observations, the writ petition is disposed of. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order be supplied to the parties, if applied for, as early as possible. (Jay Sengupta, J.)
