The prayer in this Writ Petition is to issue a mandamus to direct the Thasildar to conduct an enquiry relating to the genuineness of the grant in land bearing Sy.No.33 measuring 25 guntas situated in Channasandra village, Bidarahalli Hobli, Bangalore East Taluk. 2. It is the case of the petitioners that though an order of remand was filed by the Deputy Commissioner on 14.03.2023, the Thasildar has not taken any steps to - 3 - NC: 2025:KHC:15596 WP No. 8106 of 2025 comply with the directions issued by the Deputy Commissioner. It is submitted that the Thasildar has merely issued notices and has not taken any further steps in the matter. On the other hand, the Authorities are threatening to dispossess the petitioner. 3. In the light of the above, it would be appropriate to direct the Thasildar to comply with the order dated 14.03.2023 passed by the Special Deputy Commissioner, Bangalore North in RRT(2) N(A) 20/2016-17 within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Until then, the respondents shall maintain status quo. 4. In view of the disposal of the petition, all pending interlocutory applications, if any, stand disposed of.
