Azim, Advocate for the appellant. Mr. Naresh Pant, learned counsel for the respondent. The case is taken up today before the National Lok Adalat. This Appeal from Order, is arising out of an award dated 16.11.2016, as it was passed by the Motor Accident Claims Tribunal in MACP Case No. 272 of 2015. The appellant/claimant has sought enhancement of the awarded amount. Before the Lok Adalat, the parties have agreed to settle the matter. It is submitted that the respondent No.1 will pay an additional sum of Rs.2,50,000/- over and above the awarded amount to the claimant, within four weeks from the date of receipt of certified copy of the order. The terms of the compromise have been recorded in a separate compromise sheet which shall form part of the order. In such view of the matter, the appeal stands disposed of in terms of the compromise entered into between the parties. Pending applications, if any, also stand disposed of accordingly.
