HON'BLE INDRAJEET SHUKLA, J. 1.Vakalatnama filed by Shri Ram Kumar Singh, Advocate on behalf of respondent no. 4 is taken on record. 2. Heard. 3. After hearing learned counsel for the parties and perusing the record, what comes out is that there is already a link road constructed in the village in question after incurring more than 17 crores of expenditure as informed by learned counsel for the petitioner himself. The said link road passes through Gata No. 630M. There is some suit pending in the court of Civil Judge, Junior Division, Sadar Pratapgarh at the behest of Rajesh Kumar and others bearing O.S. No. 877 of 2024 pertaining to Gata No. 630 Minjumla, wherein a temporary injunction has been granted on 09.05.2024 restraining the defendant(s) in the suit including the State of Uttar Pradesh from demolishing the houses existing on the said gata and now the petitioners, who are also the residents of the same village, have filed this PIL seeking construction of another link road on a different Gata i.e. Gata No. 92, which is recorded as road in the revenue records. However, we find a letter dated 24.02.2025 written by the Executive Engineering, Rural Engineering Department, Division-Pratapgarh to the District Magistrate, Pratapgarh to the effect that one link road has already been constructed and there is no such scheme/ policy for constructing another link road in the same village thereby expressing inability to Versus Counsel for Petitioner(s) : Manuvendra Singh, Shubham Kumar Counsel for Respondent(s) : C.S.C. Gobind Sahay Pandey And 2 Others .....Petitioner(s) State Of U.P. Thru. Addl. Secy. Deptt. Of Rural Development Lko. And 9 Others .....Respondent(s) undertake the construction on Gata No. 92 as has been desired by the petitioners. The said letter has been written to the District Magistrate in pursuance to the some representation submitted by the villagers (not the petitioners). 4. We fail to understand as to how this PIL can be maintained in view of the said letter dated 24.02.2025. It is not a matter to be proceeded any further as a PIL. The petitioners shall approach the concerned authority, if there is a cause and if they have locus standi. 5. The petition is disposed of.
