Report submitted by the learned advocate appearing for the State be kept with the record. Petitioners have approached this Court as their representation dated 04.04.2025 to organise a Workers Meeting on 12.04.2025 in front of Jatin Das Park, Kolkata was not responded to by the police authorities. Petitioners are allowed to conduct such meeting on 12.04.2025 with a Stage having length of 8 ft. and breadth of 12 ft. The participants in the said meeting should not exceed 100 persons at any point of time. The participants would be allowed to operate 4 to 6 microphones without crossing the decibel limit fixed by the West Bengal Pollution Control Board and none of the microphones would face schools/colleges/hospitals in the vicinity of the place. 2 The names of ten organisers with their mobile/phone numbers be forwarded to the police authorities/administration and the organisers would ensure that there is free movement of traffic and there is no inconvenience caused to the public at large. Any other problem which arises while the meeting progresses, the organisers will speak with the administration and ensure that no inconveniences are caused to any person. The organizers after completion of the meeting would ensure that the temporary structure and the wastes are removed and at least the original position is restored. Learned advocate appearing for the petitioners on instructions submits that the petitioners and/or their associates would abide by the terms as stated above. With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition being WPA 8418 of 2025 is disposed of. There will be no order as to costs. All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities. (Tirthankar Ghosh, J.)
