By means of this application, the applicant has prayed for permitting change of the address and name of the opposite party/respondent nos. 2 and 3 in the writ petition. For ready reference, the relevant averments made in paragraph 5 of the IA are extracted hereinbelow: “2. GOALPARA MUNICIPAL BOARD, REPRESENTED BY ITS CHAIRMAN, PAHARTOLI, DISTRICT: OALPARA, ASSAM 783101. 3. AMITESH RAJKHOWA, EXECUTIVE OFFICER, GOALPARA MUNICIPAL BOARD, PAHARTOLI, DISTRICT: GOALPARA, ASSAM 783101.” It is submitted that due to some changing circumstances, the aforesaid amendment is required. Page No.# 3/3 Shri N Goswami, learned State Counsel, Assam has not raised serious objection to the said prayer for amendment. Considering the aforesaid circumstances, the instant IA is allowed and the incumbent named above are permitted to be substituted in place of the original respondent nos. 2 and 3 in the connected WP(C)/5331/2023. The IA accordingly stands disposed of. The applicant is required to file amended cause title in the connected writ petition within a period of 1 week.
