Bordoloi, learned counsel for the applicant- petitioners and Mr. S.A. Ahmed, learned counsel for the opposite party-respondent no. 2. 2. The applicants have preferred the connected contempt petition, Cont.Cas[C]/27/2024. The instant interlocutory application has been preferred by the applicants seeking impleadment of the following person :- 1. [a] Dr. Umesh Phangcho, Director of Health Services, Assam, Hengrabari, Guwahati – 781036, Dist. – Kamrup [M], Assam. as respondent no. 1 [a] in the connected contempt case, Cont.Cas[C]/27/2024. 3. It is stated that one Sri Munindra Nath Ngatey has been impleaded as respondent no. 1 at the time of preferring the contempt petition as he was holding the post of Director of Heath Services, Assam at that point of time. Subsequently, the proposed respondent no. 1 [a] has joined the Office of the Director of Health Services, Assam and therefore, his impleadment as respondent no. 1 [a] is necessary. 4. In view of the above fact situation projected on behalf of the applicant-petitioners, the instant interlocutory application seeking impleadment of the above proposed respondent no. 1 [a] is allowed. 5. The learned counsel for the applicant-petitioners shall file an amended Cause-Title before the Registry, within a period of one week in terms of the Notification no. 79 dated 19.06.2023.
