Heard Sri P.Sashidhar Reddy, learned counsel for the petitioner. and Smt S.Pranathi, learned Special Government Pleader, attached to the Office of learned Advocate General, appearing for the respondent- State through virtual mode. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner contends that on 10.05.2025 at about 1:30 P.M., the husband of the petitioner by name Sri Manukonda Srikanth Reddy, was apprehended by respondent Nos.4 and 5 highhandedly without registering any crime and confined him in illegal custody. He further contends that whereabouts of the husband of the petitioner were not known. He also contends that without informing the reasons of arrest, respondent Nos.4 and 5 highhandedly have taken husband of the petitioner into custody. On the other hand, Smt S.Pranathi, learned Special Government Pleader, submits that husband of petitioner was arrested in Crime No.41 of 2025 of Chilakaluripeta Rural Police Station, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 318 (4) and 351 (2) of the Bharathiya Nyaya Sanhitha. She further submits that shortly, respondent Nos.4 and 5 are going to produce the husband of petitioner before the concerned Magistrate. In view of rival contentions, as the respondent Nos.4 and 5 arrested the husband of petitioner in Crime No.41 of 2025 of Chilakaluripeta Rural Police Station and as it is undertaken that respondent Nos.4 and 5 are going to produce the husband of the petitioner before the concerned Magistrate during the course of the day, no further orders are required to be passed in the present writ petition. 4. 5. 6. Accordingly, the Writ of Habeas Corpus is closed leaving it open to the petitioner to avail appropriate remedies available to her under law. 3 7.
