Heard the parties.
The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Sukhdeonagar P.S. Case No. 267 of 2025(N), for the offences registered under Section 21(a)/22 of the N.D.P.S. Act and Section 111(2)(b) of the B.N.S., pending in the Court of learned Judicial Commissioner-cum- Special Judge, N.D.P.S., Ranchi.
Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner has submitted that 2.86 grams of brown sugar was recovered from the joint possession of the petitioner and co-accused. It was further submitted that the quantum of seized contraband comes within the purview of small quantity. It was further submitted that similarly situated co-accused Vishal Mittal @ Hemant Mittal has been granted bail by this Court vide B.A. No.6027 of
2025. In view of the aforesaid facts, I am inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees twenty thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Judicial Commissioner-cum-Special Judge, N.D.P.S., Ranchi, in connection with Sukhdeonagar P.S. Case No. 267 of 2025(N).
