HIGH COURT OF JUDICATURE AT ALLAHABAD LUCKNOW CRIMINAL MISC. WRIT PETITION No. - 9810 of 2025 Court No. - 9 HON'BLE RAJESH SINGH CHAUHAN, J.
HON'BLE ABDHESH KUMAR CHAUDHARY, J.
1. Heard Sri Syed Raza Mehdi, learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri R.S. Dwivedi, learned AGA for the State.
2. By means of this petition the petitioner has prayed following relief ;
"WHEREFORE, it is most respectfully prayed that this Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to issue a writ in the nature mandamus commanding the opposite parties not to harass the Petitioner and interfere with the peaceful life of the Petitioner without having any first information report registered against the Petitioner and pressurized the petitioner to accept the allegations made against him in the baseless complaint regarding which there is no evidence against the Petitioner."
3. Sri Dwivedi has informed on the basis of instructions that on account of one complaint the petitioner was called in the police station but there is no F.I.R. against him and his presence is not required in the police station, therefore, the relief prayed in the writ petition is misconceived.
4. Having considered the submission of learned AGA, we do not find any plausible reason to keep this petition pending any longer, therefore, without entering into the merits of the issue this writ petition is disposed of at the admission stage with the observation that no citizen should be unnecessarily harassed by the police or any authority.
