PUBLIC PROSECUTOR (AP) 3.0 The Court made the following COMMON ORDER: The present Criminal Petition is filed by A.2 to A.5 seeking to quash the proceedings in C.C.No. 134/2016 on the file of Judicial First Class Magistrate, Kaikalur, Krishna Disrict. Initially the respondent filed a private complaint, which was referred to the police under Section 156(3) Cr.P.C. After completion of the investigation, the police filed a final report referring the case as false. Aggrieved by the same, the 1®' respondent filed protest petition and on the basis of the same, the learned Magistrate took cognizance of the same and 2. issued process to the accused. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, learned counsel for the petitioners / A.2 to A.5 as well as the learned counsel for respondent state that at the intervention of the elders and well-wishers, both of them settled the dispute amicably. The 1®’ respondent / complainant is present before this Court and Sri S.Syamsunder Rao, learned counsel, identified her. The petitioners / A.2 to A.5 are also present before this Court and Sri Narasimha Rao Gudiseva, learned counsel, identified them. 3. When this Court enquired with them, the respondent / complainant as well as the petitioners state that they have compromised the matter on their 4. own volition. The 1®' respondent / complainant states that there is no coercion and she voluntarily agreed for the compromise. She admits that she received the entire money in terms of the compromise. She further states that she has no objection for quashing the proceedings in C.C.No.134/2016. 5. In view of the above facts and circumstances, the 1®‘ respondent / complainant is permitted to compound the offence with the petitioners / A.2 to A.5. 6. Accordingly, Criminal Petition No.8552/2016 as well as I.A.Nos.1 and 2 of 2024 are allowed and the proceedings initiated against the petitioners herein / A.2 to A.5 in C.C.No. 134/2016 on the file of Judicial First Class Magistrate, Kaikalur, Krishna Disrict, are hereby quashed.
