The present application has been filed for grant of regular bail to petitioner in connection with R.C.Case No.03(A) of 2025-R registered for offence under section 7 of Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988, pending in court of learned Addl. Judicial Commissioner- VIII Cum Special Judge, CBI, Ranchi.

Learned counsel for petitioner submits that petitioner is in custody since 11.5.2025 and allegations are made of receiving money by the petitioner from Ramesh Yadav. He submits that however trap money was taken by Ramesh Yadav and allegation is made that Ramesh Yadav has disclosed that he has taken money for this petitioner. He submits that Ramesh Yadav has been granted bail in B.A. No.6522 of 2025 and charge sheet has already been submitted.

Learned counsel for the respondent CBI opposes prayer and submits that initially amount has been received by Ramesh Yadav and subsequently same was transferred to this petitioner.

In view of above and considering that petitioner is in custody since 11.5.2025 and person from whom trap money has been recovered has been granted regular bail as aforesaid and charge sheet has already been submitted and nothing is on record to suggest that petitioner will tamper with any of the evidence, I am inclined to grant regular bail to petitioner.

In the attending facts and circumstances, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.25,000/- (Twenty Five Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to satisfaction of learned Additional Judicial Commissioner- VIII Cum Special Judge, CBI, Ranchi, in connection with R.C.Case No.03(A) of 2025-R.
7. Let case diary be returned back to CBI, Ranchi for needful.
