Mr Bhavpreet Singh, learned counsel for the petitioners, submits that he may be allowed to withdraw the writ petition and with liberty to file afresh, in the event of candidates having degrees in Arts, Science or Commerce of a University recognized by the Government of Assam, are appointed to the post of Enforcement Inspector under the Transport Department, Government of Assam, pursuant to the advertisement dated 6th of August, 2024. 2. Ms M D Bora, learned Standing Counsel, Transport Department, for the respondent Nos. 1 and 2, submits that she has no objection to the same. Page No.# 3/3 3. Mr T J Mahanta, learned Senior Counsel/Standing Counsel, APSC, for the respondent No. 3, submits that the selection process has been completed and recommendation for appointments have been made for filling up the 27 (twenty-seven) posts of Enforcement Inspector. He submitted that the appointment orders may be issued at any time by the State Government. 4.
