When the matter is taken up today, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) would submit that history sheet has now been transferred to the file of the Madhavaram Police Station and the Deputy Commissioner of Police is the proper authority to deal with the removal of names of history sheeters. In view of the above submission, the petitioner is at liberty to give a fresh representation along with a copy of this order to the Deputy Commissioner of police, Madhavaram. The Deputy Commissioner of Police, Madhavaram, is directed to consider and pass orders on the representation of the petitioner, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of the fresh representation from the petitioner.
