Munir, learned counsel appearing for the accused petitioner as well as Mr. P. Borthakur, learned Addl.P.P., appearing for the State of Assam. 2. This petition under Section 483 of the BNSS, 2023 has been filed by the accused-petitioner, namely, Aktar Ali @ Petla praying for grant of bail in connection with Basistha P.S. Case No. 395/2025 under Sections 118(2)/109/3(5) of the BNS Act. 3. The case arose out of an ejahar dated 03.09.2025 which was lodged by the victim’s mother with the allegation that some persons brutally attacked her daughter causing serious injury, for which she is stated to have been hospitalized and in serious condition. 4. It is fairly submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that an earlier bail petition was rejected on 10.09.2025 and copy also annexed and it is further submitted that this subsequent petition has been filed, seeking bail. 5. Investigation is not yet completed. The final medical report has been received, which also reveals serious injuries which necessitated surgery and repair. Page No.# 3/3 6. Investigation is not yet completed. In any considered view, there is no sufficient subsequent grounds to take different views in the bail petition and the same stands rejected at this stage. 7.
