Borpujari, learned Standing Counsel, Finance Department are present. 2] The present writ petitions have been filed seeking directions to the respondents to release the arrear salary along with gratuity, leave encashment and other retirement benefits which the petitioners claim to be entitled to as they superannuated from the Assam Plains Tribes Development Corporation. The petitioner in WP(C) No.4360/2022 was serving as a Lower watchman-cum- Peon of the Assam Plains Tribes Development Corporation and he superannuated on 31.03.2020. The petitioner in WP(C) No. 6760 /2020 was serving as an Assistant Manager of the Assam Plains Tribes Development Corporation and he superanuated on 31.05.2011. 3] It is submitted by the learned Standing Counsel, Corporation that during the pendency of the proceedings the Corporation took steps towards release of the amount due to the petitioners along with other similarly situated persons. 4] Learned Standing Counsel for the Corporation has placed before the Court Page No.# 4/4 the sanction order dated 03.11.2023, whereby various amounts have been sanctioned in respect of the employees, including the present writ petitioners. The name of the petitioner in WP(C) No.4360/2022, namely, Ananda Daimary, appears at serial no.38, whereas the name of the petitioner in WP(C) No. 6760 / 2022, namely, Diganta Kuli appears in the serial no.35. That apart, the communication dated 03.11.20203 which is also placed before the Court, shows that the amounts have been duly credited to the respective Bank accounts of the persons concerned including the present writ petitioners. 5] In that view of the matter, it is clear that the grievances raised by the petitioners have already been redressed and there is no further cause to pursue in the writ petition. Accordingly, although none represents the writ petitioners when the matter was called up, since the grievances of the writ petitioners have already been redressed and no further cause survives to pursue before the Court, the present writ petitions stand closed without any directions. 6] Interim order(s), if any, stands vacated.
