And 3 Others Counsel for Petitioner :- Viresh Kumar Gupta Counsel for Respondent :- C.S.C.,Sushil Kumar Pandey Hon'ble Ashwani Kumar Mishra,J. Hon'ble Vipin Chandra Dixit,J. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, learned Standing Counsel for the State and Sri Sushil Kumar Pandey for the respondent nos. 2 & 4. Petitioner claims to have suffered electrocution, as a result of which, one of her hands had to be amputated. The claim for compensation in terms of the applicable scheme appears to be pending before the respondent no. 3. Thus aggrieved, the petitioner is before this Court. Once a claim of the present kind is raised, it is expected that authorities will show sympathetic consideration and keeping the matter pending on the pretext of inquiry for so long cannot be appreciated. In that view of the matter, we dispose of this writ petition with a direction upon the respondent no. 3 to submit necessary report, after making appropriate factual inquiry, within a period of six weeks. The report would be forwarded to the respondent no. 4, who will take an appropriate decision, within a further period of three weeks, thereafter. The amount, which is found due and payable to the petitioner, shall be released to her, within a period of two weeks, thereafter.
