GP FOR FINANCE PLANNING The Court made the following order: Heard Ms. Abhigna, learned counsel appearing for Sri Javvaji Sarath Chandra, learned counsel for the petitioners and Smt. Kotharu Vijayeswari, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Land Acquisition appearing for respondents. 2. The grievance of the petitioners is against the inaction of the respondents in paying the compensation amount awarded under award No.03/2023-2024 in proceedings vide Ref.No.A/164/2020 dated 29.04.2023 to the petitioners for acquisition of the petitioners land under Gandikota Reservoir and consequently, sought for a direction to the respondents to pay the compensation amount of Rs.1,88,21,334/- along with interest from the date of award. 3 3. Today, when the matter is taken up for consideration, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Land Acquisition has placed before the Court a copy of the written remarks received from the 6th respondent dated 06.04.2026. A perusal of the same would reflect that the bill for payment of Rs.1,88,21,334/- has been cleared and duly approved by the Assistant Pay and Accounts Officer, Pulivendula. However, the said amount has not been credited to the petitioners’ accounts for want of fund clearance. 4. The said written instructions of the 6th respondent dated 06.04.2026 are placed on record. 5. Having regard to the above, this Court deems it appropriate to dispose of the writ petition with a direction to respondent Nos.2 to 6 to ensure that the approved Bill No.2025-1676524 for a sum of Rs.1,88,21,334/-, the compensation payable under the land acquisition award, is duly processed and credited to the accounts of the petitioners within a period of three (03) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 6. With the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
