The petitioner is an accused in connection with Kadma P.S. Case No. 01 of 2025. The father of the informant was assaulted by the accused persons including the petitioner and an amount of Rs. 27,000/- was also snatched from him. It has been submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that though the father of the informant has named the petitioner as one of the assailants, but the injury report reveals that injuries were found to be simple in nature. Learned counsel submits that one of the co-accused, similarly situated, namely Sk. Mazhar, has been granted bail by this Court in B.A. No. 6261 of 2025. It has been submitted that the petitioner is in custody since 06.03.2025 and the charges have already been framed in the present case. Learned A.P.P. has opposed the prayer for bail of the petitioner. Regard being had to the fact that one of the co-accused has been granted bail by this Court, the petitioner is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Additional Sessions Judge-V, Jamshedpur in connection with Kadma P.S.
