By filing this interlocutory application, the applicant namely Fajila Khatun @ Fazila Khatun, who is the petitioner in the connected WP(C)/5037/2025, has prayed for impleading the District Commissioner of Baksa, Assam, as respondent No. 8 and the Superintendent of Police (Border), Baksa, Assam, as respondent No. 9. The applicant has also prayed for extension of time to take bail. 3. Having heard the learned Additional Advocate General for the State and the learned counsel appearing for the other respondents, the prayer made in this interlocutory application stands allowed. 4. The applicant is permitted to implead the District Commissioner of Baksa, Assam, as respondent No. 8 and the Superintendent of Police (Border), Baksa, Assam, as respondent No. 9. 5. The applicant shall submit a freshly typed out copy of the cause title to the AO(J), FT Section, for incorporating the same in the connected WP(C)/2037/2025 and for correction of the same by the Registry. 6. By the order dated 01.09.2025, passed in WP(C)/5037/2025, this Court had granted 10 (ten) days time to the applicant to appear before the Superintendent of Police (Border), Barpeta, and take bail.
As it is submitted that the authority having jurisdiction to accept bail bond is the Superintendent of Police (Border), Baksa, this Court is inclined to extend 10 (ten) days time to the
Page No.# 3/3 applicant from the date of this order to appear before the Superintendent of Police (Border), Baksa, Assam and take bail in terms of the order dated 01.09.2025 passed in WP(C)/5037/2025. 7. This order shall be read together with the order dated 01.09.2025 passed in WP(C)/5037/2025. 8. This interlocutory application stands disposed of. JUDGE JUDGE
