In the instant petition, the petitioners are seeking a direction upon the respondents to continue to provide continuous/unobstructed sufficient water supply to the villages (i) Charota, (ii) Thut, (iii) Dabbar, (iv) Kuth (v) Aschar, (vi) Thandapani (vii) Khardyal (viii) Mouth, (ix) Kool, (x) Suldu, (xi) Maldeek, (xii) Mandir Mari, (xiii) Suldu (xiv) Rantoo, (xv) Kathooth, (xvi) Khariyas, (xvii) Kagla, and (xviii) Chakhar, District Doda in order to cater to the drinking water facility for the entire population of the villages aforementioned. The petitioners are further seeking a direction upon the respondents not to obstruct the water supply to four cremation grounds in the area besides providing water supply to the live stock/animals of the entire area. 2. Learned counsel for the respondent, on the asking of the Court, has produced copy of communication dated 11.02.2025 addressed by WP(C) No. 282/2025 2 respondent No.4, wherein it is categorically stated that there is sufficient water discharge left in Dakundu Nallah after tapping water pipe line (5th line in question) for animals cremation ground and water mills. It is also stated that the said pipeline is part of the approved DPR under the Jal Jeevan Mission. Copy of the communication is taken on record. 3. Learned senior counsel, appearing for the petitioners, states that the petitioners would feel satisfied, if the instant writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondents to continue to provide unobstructed sufficient water supply to the village (i) Charota, (ii) Thut, (iii) Dabbar, (iv) Kuth (v) Aschar, (vi) Thandapani (vii) Khardyal (viii) Mouth, (ix) Kool, (x) Suldu, (xi) Maldeek, (xii) Mandir Mari, (xiii) Suldu (xiv) Rantoo, (xv) Kathooth, (xvi) Khariyas, (xvii) Kagla, and (xviii) Chakhar, District Doda, to the four cremation grounds in the areas besides providing water supply to the livestock/animals of the entire area. 4. Be that as it may, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondents to provide continuous sufficient water supply to the villages (supra) in order to cater the requirement of drinking water to the entire population. The respondents are also directed to provide sufficient water supply to the four cremation grounds in the area besides providing water supply to the livestock/animals of the entire area, provided there is no other legal impediment. 5.
