At the very outset, learned standing counsel raises a preliminary objection with regard to maintainability of the writ petition on the ground that against the impugned order, the petitioner has equally, efficacious alternative remedy of filing an appeal/ revision. Confronted with the said fact, learned counsel for the petitioner wants to withdraw the present petition with liberty to avail of alternative remedy. In view of the above the writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn. However, it is provided that in case the appeal/ revision is preferred within a period of 15 days from today, the same shall be entertained without raising any objection with regard to the limitation. Certified copy of the impugned order, if any, may be returned to the counsel for the petitioner after retaining its photostat copy.
