Heard Sri Bijay Kumar Srivastava, learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri Nand Lal Maurya, learned Standing Counsel appearing for the State-respondents. Learned counsel for the petitioner has confined his relief to prayer no.1 which is for a direction to respondent no.2 to decide the appeal no. T202502030503543 (Krishn Bihari Tiwari vs. Mukesh Mishra), under Section 207 of the U.P. Revenue Code, 2006 read with Section 35(2) of the U.P. Revenue Code, 2006 within a stipulated time period. Counsel for the petitioner has referred to the 'order sheet' of the case, a copy whereof has been appended to the writ petition to point out that although several dates have been fixed but for some reason or the other, matter has been adjourned. The delay in disposal of the case is stated to be causing hardship to the petitioner. Accordingly, a prayer is made for a direction to the respondent No. 2, the Sub Divisional Magistrate, Karchana, Prayagraj to conclude the proceedings at an early date.
