Petitioner claims that he is being harassed, heckled at the behest of the private respondents and even his cultivated crops are being snatched away by the private respondents. To that effect, repeated informations have been furnished with the police authorities but the police authorities have turned their deaf ears and did not take any action for protecting the crops of the petitioner. Learned advocate for the State has submitted a report. Report reflects that case and counter cases have been registered as and when informations were furnished with the police authorities. 2 Learned advocate for the private respondents opposes the contentions and submits that civil suit is pending between the parties and as the civil court is already in seisin of the matter, the nature of dispute complained of should be adjudicated by the civil court. However, the main contention of the petitioner before this court is in respect of the private respondent’s interference and the crops being taken away. Petitioner, if he faces any inconveniences will report to the police authorities. Police authorities would keep a strict vigil and ensure that no breach of the peace and tranquility takes place and/or any untoward incident results because of the strained relationship existing between the parties. With the aforesaid observations WPA 8384 is disposed of. Report so submitted be kept with the record. Copy of the report be handed over to the learned advocate appearing for the petitioner.
