HIGH COURT OF JUDICATURE AT ALLAHABAD WRIT TAX No. - 5248 of 2025 Court No. - 3 HON'BLE SAUMITRA DAYAL SINGH, J.
HON'BLE INDRAJEET SHUKLA, J.
1. Heard Sri Adarsh Bhushan, learned counsel for the petitioner, Sri Harsh Vardhan Gupta, learned counsel for Nagar Nigam and learned Standing Counsel for the State.
2. At the outset, preliminary objection has been raised by Sri Harsh Vardhan Gupta, learned counsel for the respondent-Nagar Nigam that the impugned order of assessment of property tax is appealable.
3. On the other hand, learned counsel for the petitioner urged that some laxity may be granted to the petitioner to file an appeal as time has been lost in legal opinion and approaching this Court.
4. Accordingly, interference claimed under Article 226 of the Constitution is declined.
5. The writ petition is disposed of with a direction, subject to the petitioner filing such appeal after complying the statutory conditions within a period of three weeks from today, that may be dealt with and decided on its own merits without raising any objection as to the limitation.
