The writ petition is filed seeking direction to the respondent no.2- Consolidaton Officer, Saharanpur, to decide the restoration application dated 02.06.2018 filed by the petitioners before the Consolidation Officer, Saharanpur in Case No.73+70+76 of 2023, under Section 9A(2) of U.P. Consolidation of Holdings Act, regarding land situate in village Halgoya, Pargana Nagal, Tehsil Rampur Maniharan, District Saharanpur. 3. In view of the innocuous prayer made by learned counsel for the petitioners, I do not find good any reason to keep the matter pending for long. 4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this petition is disposed of with the direction to respondent no.2-Consolidaton Officer, Saharanpur, to decide the aforesaid application, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of 3 months, from the date of production of a certified copy of this order before the authority concerned, after affording proper opportunity of hearing to the parties concerned, in accordance with law and without granting unnecessary adjournments to the parties.
