Perused the last order dated 18.09.2025. Page No.# 2/2 3. The report was called for regarding registration of any case against the petitioner in the Tezpur P.S. 4. Pursuant thereof, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State has submitted a report stating that no case has been registered against the petitioner in the Tezpur P.S. 5. In view of the same, there is no legal basis for any apprehension of arrest. However, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that SI, Mr. P. Pegu from Borghat, Police Outpost under Tezpur P.S has been harassing the petitioner. 6. The police are at liberty to proceed as per law in case of any allegations of a criminal act on the part of the petitioner. However, as stated above, a written report has been submitted by the police from the said police station that no case is pending against him at the moment, in that P.S. 7. The petitioner shall not be subjected to any undue harassment. 8. Accordingly, the anticipatory bail petition stands disposed of on the aforesaid terms. JUDGE Comparing Assistant
