Also heard Mr. P. Borthakur, learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State of Assam. 2. Mr. P. Borthakur, learned Additional Public Prosecutor seeking regular bail in connection with Moran P.S. Case NO. 76/2025 under Sections 61(2)/109(1)/108/3(5) of the BNS, 2023. He was arrested on 22.07.2025. 3. The petitioner No. 1 and No.2 stated to be the brother-in-law and husband of the deceased. The allegation in the FIR is that the names of the persons including the present accused person conspired and attempted to kill the informant’s daughter. 4. The case diary as called for has received. It is submitted by the learned Addl. P.P. that the materials revealed by the investigation lend support to the allegations in the FIR. It is also submitted that the materials which have been collected by the investigation show that both the present petitioners were involved in inflicting all sorts of torture upon the deceased. 5. The statements of some of the relevant witnesses have been placed before the Court by way of the case diary. Page No.# 3/3 6. I have gone through the statements and find force in the contention of the prosecution. Considering the nature of the case, the bail petition stands rejected at this stage. 7.
